The Balance of Power - Introduction
In American schools when we study our constitution, we cover the concept of the balance of power. Political power is divided between the executive branch, the judicial branch, and the legislative branch. The legislative branch is furthur divided between the Senate and the House of Representatives. But there are other sources of power that affect our society and the societies of other countries like planets who's gravity creates a collosal battle of tug-of-war in the solar system.
