President Bush Enables the Sale of Sensitive U.S. Corporations
What is George Bush up to? Most conservatives that voted for his return to office did so in the belief that he would defend our country. But his policies seem to be the exact opposite of what we believed. Instead, President Bush seems to be quite happy with selling strategically sensitive companies and assets to foreign governments that are not our friends. In the past these sales have been opposed by the Military, Congress, and grass root movements. But that hasn't stopped his administration from trying to sell off America.
In his latest move, President Bush signed a draft presidential order that limits the role of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). his draft order is opposed by departments in his own cabinet. So what is he thinking? I am amazed at Presidents Bush's actions that appear to be detrimental to our country. It makes me wonder who he is really working for. It seems more and more that President Bush, like President Clinton before him, is in the pocket of China.
