Is it just me, or does it seem like every year there are more and more government regulations controlling our behavior? There are regulations regarding the use of our property, our businesses, what we think, what we say, who we can associate with, and numerous licenses and permits governing all that we do. Is this the face of a free society? Or are we losing our freedoms, day by day one regulation after another?

And yet, we keep voting for people who promise more government, more rules, more agencies, more bureaucracies, and another slice of our "free" society gets taken away.
