U.S. Becomes the Worlds Top Producer of Wind Energy

I found an article on livescience.com that the U.S. has just surpassed Germany as the number 1 producer of wind energy. It is a start and we are moving in the right direction but we need to stay focused. As our usage of fossil fuels is reduced, they will become cheaper. We cannot let ourselves be lulled into complacency again by cheap fossil fuels.

Apparently, research indicates most of the wind is generated as hot air arising from the area of Washington, D.C. If we could put hoses on elected officials, we could possibly eliminate our dependence on Middle Eastern oil.
