Dems are Wrong About Off Shore Drilling
The Democrats like to say that increasing off shore oil drilling will not make a difference in the price of oil because we do not produce that much of the worlds supply. And yet today the price of oil shot up because of the fear that our current production will be affected by Tropical Storm Gustav.
Now I realize that oil production will be stopped while the storm passes, but does anyone really believe the storm will take out all of the oil rigs? And if the fear of an interruption in our production can make the price of oil shoot up, then why can't the news of the US, increasing ti's production cause oil prices to fall?
The Democrats charge that increased drilling will not have any meaningful affect on the price of oil is just hallow rhetoric with no basis in fact.
