Is Palin a mistake?

The surprise choice of John McCain to choose Sara Palin brings a lot of questions and baggage unusual for a candidate for this high of an office. At the top of this list is experience. If the Republicans argue that Barack Obama does not have enough experience to become the President, then how can you say that Sara Palin has enough experience?

I think having Palin as McCain's running mate takes this argument off of the shelf. This makes it hard to justify a vote for McCain. Unfortunately if you don't vote for McCain then you are voting for Obama and his Marxist agenda. That is not a choice I want to make.

I just finished watching Sarah Palin's speech at the convention. I was very interested to see her delivery, content, and overall presence. I don't know if you saw it but I thought it was pretty impressive. She comes across very down to earth and approachable. Definitly not Wasington business as usual. Interested to hear what you think

I agree, she did seem down to earth and delivered an effective speech.  I was pleasantly surprised.  It seems like in this election all of the candidates are trying to position themselves as someone other than the same business as usual.  Sarah Palin is really the only one that can really make a legitimate claim to being different.  Maybe that is why the liberals hate her so much.
