The American Heritage dictionary defines greedy as, "Excessively desirous of acquiring or possessing, especially wishing to possess more than what one needs or deserves."

So who is more greedy, the person who works hard all their life to own a business or further their career with the hope of gaining material comfort; or the person who never really tries to work yet expects and demands of the people who do work to provide them with a similar standard of living?
