Main stream media didn't disappoint
I know I am late to the rant on how the red journalist of the MSM treated the tax tea party protests, but I wanted to put my 2 cents out there. Before the tea parties, I was wondering how the MSM was going to react to a grass roots protests against excessive government. One idea was that they were going to ignore the thousands of protesters across the country and that is what they did.
I took screen shots of several major news outlet sites on the Internet such as ABC news and the New York Times during the day and there was little to no mention of the tea parties going on around the country. The ones that did post an article hid it among the lines of the lesser news. Then there was the liberal cable news outlets and their sophomoric insults they gave to the tea party protesters, using a term that most people who don't frequent public bath houses wouldn't understand. Isn't it amazing how different cable news shows would come up with the same dirty joke to use about the tea parties on the same day? It makes you wonder if these so called journalist don't get together and decide how they are going to discredit any threat they see to their favorite politicians or their Marxist agenda.
So the MSM and their cable news cohorts spent the day ignoring and insulting a truly amazing grass roots protest, because it didn't suite their left wing agenda. And along the way they did a little bit more to alienate over half of the news consumers in this country. A segment that they have nothing but scorn for. Is it any wonder that the news papers are dying? The elitist will tell you it is because of ad revenue and the change in the way people get their news and that is true to a point. But is also due to the large number of people, disgusted by the blind partisan politics of these supposedly unbiased observers.
Imagine if Cindy Sheehan and a hundred paid political protesters showed up outside of Bush's Crawford ranch. Why that would be important front page news. Why? Because she has been bought by the left wing radicals and the MSM is the mouth piece of the extreme left. But instead of changing their reporting to a more honest and balanced political view, they are running to their Democratic friends in Washington saying that the country needs to bail out the news industry. After all we need more of their biased, many times inaccurate, and sometimes faked stories, don't we?
