Obama and the Democrats break their promise about bipartisanship again.
Well it has been a wild ride so far with President Obama and the his fellow triumvirates Pelosi and Reid pushing through the massive economic recovery and government takeover plan with only a few days available for public debate. And now the Democrats are gearing up for there next push towards a socialist society run by the Democrats. The latest tactic is to use a parliamentary rule called reconcilliation. (Wikipedia) Reconcilliation was setup to allow contentious budget bills to be voted on without the threat of a filibuster. This essentially will allow the Democrats to pass their massive budget without the Republicans having any say in the matter. Democrats are even considering using reconcilliation for their energy program and a cap and trade law on carbon emission.
So it looks like the Democrats may be planning on using reconcilliation to push their agenda through the Senate without any real debate or compromise. Does that sound like a democratic process? It sounds more like one party rule to me.
