Congress exempting themselves from health care plan

Well here is another good example of government hypocrisy. Congress is busily working on a health care plan that will be mandatory for all Americans except themselves, federal unions, and possibly other unions. Instead of joining the rest of America and partake of the fruit of their decisions, they are leaving themselves the option of sticking with their own gold plated health plan.

One Congressman, John Fleming from Louisiana is taking a step forward to try and bring to light Congresses plan to protect themselves from their massive health care takeover. He has introduced a bill H.RES. 615 that requires Congress to be subject to the same health care plan that they are proposing for the rest of us.

I seriously doubt that this bill will get anywhere but I think we should all take our hats off to Congressman Fleming for making the effort. We should help him in his effort by writing to our representatives and urge them to support H. RES. 615. (note if you don't call it H. RES. 615, you will be talking about a different bill)

You can go to congress.org read about the bill, look up your representatives and send them a message from that site. So help out! Let Congress know that we are paying attention to what they are doing, and we will hold them accountable for their decisions.
