An interesting event has occurred in the rush to enact strict world wide regulations related to green house gases. It appears that a hacker has stolen e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit who, according to their website is, "widely recognized as one of the world's leading institutions concerned with the study of natural and anthropogenic climate change." What these e-mails show is a concerted attempt by the University's Hadley Climate Research Unit to manipulate data, and silence critics in order to promote the idea that a man-made global warming catastrophe is at hand.

If proved to be true, and so far they do appear to be legitimate, then we have to wonder what is going on. Why do we need all of these expensive and job destroying regulations if global warming and cooling is a natural phenomenon that we have very little influence over? Could it be that there is a hidden agenda behind the global warming movement? It is very obvious that Al Gore one of the leading proponents of man created global warming stands to make millions of dollars from the new regulations. Makes you wonder who else is going to be making money off of the global warming movement.

Open and honest debate should be encouraged not discouraged like the leaders of the Hadley Climate Research Unit appear to be involved in. I think that we the people also need to be very skeptical over the claims of global warming and the government regulations that are being planned to, "help us."
