An interesting idea
I have written a lot about how Congress is more beholding to special interest groups and not the people that elect them. I have written about using public financed campaigns to pry special interest money out of Washington. But this web site has come up with another rather unique idea.
The site is Goooh.com and it stands for Get Out of Our House. The goal is to replace all 435 members of the House of Representatives with local citizens that are not affiliated with the Democratic or Republican party. In other words, elect local citizens who reflect the values of their community, just like the Founding Fathers first envisioned. It is an interesting idea, I encourage you to check out the web site, read the plan, and decide. Maybe you will want to participate.
