The politicians decided to keep the government going
So it looks like doomsday didn't happen after all. Is anyone really surprised? I truly believe that the politicians on both sides of the isle are actually too scared to ever let the government shutdown. I don't think they actually want people to realize how much of the government complex is not necessary.
