A big bi-partisan bust
In a recent post I was wondering if politicians will ever gather the courage and integrity to make the hard choices regarding our mounting debt. Today we learn that the much heralded bi-partisan committee for budget reform is busted, just like the Federal checkbook. The politicians were not able to overcome their own dogma or the pressures of the special interest groups that control them.
Is there anyone out there who is electable with enough strength and leadership ability to guide us out of this mess that the current crop of pandering politicians have put us in? Is the American public smart enough to recognize them?
