What if there were no political parties.
What if there were no political parties? What if each elected official only had to answer to the people who elected them? What if the political leaders were chosen based on their ability to gather a consensus rather than whether they came from a "safe" state or district. What if each elected official had to raise their own campaign money from people who lived within their district and could not get political money from people or organizations outside of their state or district?
What if politicians did not have to answer to a party boss or a large fund raiser? What if the government was run the way many of the founding fathers envisioned it to be? Would it be better than what we have today?
