I have written a lot about how Congress is more beholding to special interest groups and not the people that elect them. I have written about using public financed campaigns to pry special interest money out of Washington. But this web site has come up with another rather unique idea. The site is Goooh.com and it stands for Get Out of Our House. The goal is to replace all 435 members of the House of Representatives with local citizens that are not affiliated with the Democratic or Republican party. I listened to much of President Obama's health care summit today. This summit was billed as a last gasp chance at a bipartisan bill. Most of it was just saying that there is a problem. The Democrats then went on to talk about how the American people are entitled to health care coverage. The Republicans brought out their ideas on how to reduce the cost of medical care. Ideas that have been around for awhile but for some reason President Obama never heard of. Why do I say he never heard of them? ...

The Democrats just don't get it. President Obama, and the rest of the far left brain trust just can't help themselves from adding more and more government interference in our lives and in the economy at large. Remember the world rallying around support for Tibet just before the Chinese Olympics? Have you thought about Tibet since then. Many times when I am with a group of people talking politics, you can see the normal lines starting to be drawn as liberals start using their talking points and the conservatives pull out theirs. It is usually at this time that the conversation devolves into meaningless babble or maybe even angry shouts.
